Your default card is the one we charge automatically for new invoices. If you already have a card on file, adding another one does not make it the default, so if you skip step 4 we will keep charging the old card.

  1. Log in to the billing system.
  2. Open Billing and choose Payment Methods (it is also in the Hello, [your name]! menu at the top right), or go straight to Payment Methods.
  3. Click Add New Credit Card. Enter the card number, expiry date and CVV, check the billing address, add a description if you like (for example "Business Visa"), and click Save Changes.
  4. Make it the default: back on the Payment Methods list, find the new card and click Set as default. The word Default now shows next to it.
  5. Optional: remove the old card by clicking Delete next to it and confirming. Only do this after the new card shows as Default.

Do you have an unpaid invoice right now?

Changing your default card does not move invoices that already exist onto the new card. If you have an unpaid invoice, open it from Billing > My Invoices, click Pay Now and pay it with the new card. See How to view and pay an invoice.

Good to know

  • Your card details are stored securely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or keep your full card number.
  • We charge the default card about 5 days before each invoice is due, so add a new card before then.
  • We email a reminder when a card on file is about to expire.
  • Want new invoices charged to your card automatically? In Account Details, look at Payment Method. Use Default (Set Per Order) keeps whatever was chosen when you ordered. To be sure your card is used, choose Credit Card - Stripe and click Save Changes.
  • Prefer to update a card by phone? Call us at 1-760-348-8208. Please never send card numbers by email or in a support ticket.
