Instead of sharing your password, give each person their own login. Only the account owner can invite people.

  1. Log in, open the Hello, [your name]! menu at the top right and choose User Management, or go to User Management.
  2. Under Invite New User, enter their email address.
  3. Choose All Permissions, or Choose Permissions to limit what they can do. For a bookkeeper, invoices and payment methods are usually enough.
  4. Click Send Invite. They get an email with a link to accept. The invitation expires after 7 days, so send a new one if they miss it.

They log in with their own email and password, and can reset their own password if they forget it.

Change or remove access

On the same User Management page, click Manage Permissions next to a person to change what they can do, or Remove Access to take their access away. Do this right away when someone leaves your business.

Only need someone to receive invoices without logging in? Add them as a contact instead. See Update your contact details and billing email.
